The Inauguration will be a historic moment with the first African American president sworn into the Presidency. It also marks a renewal for America towards a better and brighter future.
Don Peebles is a successful real estate developer and a personal advisor to Obama. I had taken photographs of him and his family before for Washington Life Magazine. It will be a pleasure to take photographs at his Inauguration gala.
The Special Olympics also marks a time to give back to the community - something that Obama has espoused during his candidacy. Sometimes we can be so absorbed in our day to day lives that we forget to give and help the community and its people.
