A Happy New Year letter to my wedding brides and grooms past, current and future -
As we ring in the new year I want to wish you a fabulous new year together as newlyweds. And I want to share with you some thoughts towards your new wedding pictures and/or video. These thoughts came after talking with one of my wedding couples and how they were very pleased with their pictures.
You received a lot of beautiful wedding photos on your wedding day and it is easy to view them as a sea of faces, places and colors on sheets of paper or pixels on computer screen. But it can be a very special gift. It lets you reflect and relive those beautiful memories of your special day together with family and friends. It is a reminder of the beautiful wedding dress that you wore, the vows that were spoken, the look in each other's eyes after the I Do's, and all the reasons why you joined together that day. Yes I know this all sounds a wee bit sappy but it is what I really believe in and why I love weddings
It is therapeutic too. If you are ever down and need a lift of your spirits or have some rough patches from the hectic chores of life you can always look back at your beautiful wedding pictures and wedding album and reminisce about all the events, thoughts and emotions of that day. Those kinds of memories are truly priceless and will last a lifetime for you and your new family.
