Event photography of the Gala of March of Dime and 9th Annual Heroines in Technology for February 2010 issue of Washington Life Magazine. The gala was organized by Women in Technology (WIT) in partnership with March of Dimes. It was at the Hyatt Regency in Reston Virginia. This gala honored successful women who volunteer and make a difference for others. Event chairs included Sandy Scearce, Reggie Kouba and Elizabeth Shea. The keynote speaker was Carol Evens who is CEO of Working Mother Media. The emcee was Jane Norris anchor of Federal News Radio. It included a silent auction and the funds raised will help March of Dimes which is a leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health including the fight against premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality. Got some fabulous pictures including a Media Partner award given to Washington Life. The photos are published in the February 2010 issue of Washington Life Magazine and on the Washington Life website as well as the Event gallery.
