As the official glamour and wedding photographer of the
W Salon I was very proud and excited to find out that my friend Souny West's hair and makeup salon got on the front cover of the
Burke Connection Newspaper October 20th issue. The Connection Newspapers reports on local community news in Northern Virginia's affluent neighborhoods including Burke, Fairfax, Alexandria, Arlington, Mclean, Potomac, Vienna, Reston, Springfield and Great Falls. The front cover shows Souny and some of her stylists at her beautiful and spacious salon. Besides being excellend hair stylists and makeup artsts, the staff are super friendly and care about making people look good by always giving good hair and skin wellness advice to their clientelle. The article talked about the many social and community events that the salon puts on for women including girl's night out party events, school homecoming and teacher appreciation day, The W Salon also have collaborated with fashion shows and children's charities. Normally the newspaper does not have businesses on front cover but the Burke Connection was really delighted with how the salon was involved socially with the community.
