Women's Journey to Political Leadership sponsored by The National Archives Foundation

This was a commercial client and event photography photoshoot of a seminar for The National Archives in Washington DC. The National Archives Foundation presented Big Strides, Diverse Paths: Women's Journeys to Political Leadership and this seminar was held at the William G. McGownan Theater at the National Archives. It was presented in partnership with the Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy, University of Massaschusetts, Boston.
Thora Color, the Exec. Director of Foundation of National Archives, gave the welcoming remarks. Introductions were also given by Sue Gin McGowen, President of the McGowen Charitable Fund, and Carol Hardy-Fanta, Director for Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy at University of Massachusetts, Boston. It was moderated by Newsweek Editor and weekly panelist on The McLaughlin Group Eleanor Clift. Speakers included former Governor of Vermont Madeleine Kunin, Rep. Grace Napolitano from California, Rep. Marsha Blackburn from Tennessee, former Lieutenant Governor of Ohio Jennette Bradley, Rep. Mazie Hirono from Hawaii, Director Carol Hardy-Fanta, Director Thora Color. You can see event press release here.
