Hands On DC Work-A-Thon to help renovate over 30 DC Public Schools

Hands On DC is a volunteer program to help renovate over 30 Washington DC schools. I photographed the work at Ferebee Hope Elementary School in SE DC. Beautiful murals were painted at the schools and I was amazed by how inspirational these pictures would be to the kids. The Wall of Fame was especially creative with a mirror in the middle and pictures of notable leaders including President Obama on the wall. Some fun photos I caught were one volunteer couple kissing "under the Cherry Blossoms", another volunteer "bowling the sun" and this adorable little girl who was watching all the artwork being created.
