The play Little Women performed by Oakton High School and directed by Vanessa Gelinas in Oakton VA is based on the American classic novel by Louisa May Alcott. It follows the lives of four sisters Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy March growing up in the 1800's and tells the story of how they overcome character flaws, family life and feminism at that time. With a variety of singing, dancing, and emotional situations the fabulous school performance immerses the audience with the same social issues that is relevant today as it was back then. It was fun to watch the frightful fantasy ghouls get into their characters too. You can view the Oakton High play photos here with print, gift and download ordering available and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the school's drama club. Fabulous photography by JB Yong of Sweet Dreams Studio.
